So… what are those "THOUSANDS OF VERTICAL SUPPORTS" doing under the slab❓❓❓👀
Think of them as the slab’s "TEMPORARY LEGS". 🦵😂
First, these supports hold up the SHUTTERING (temporary formwork).
Then the "STEEL REINFORCEMENT" is placed on top.
And finally… "CONCRETE is poured!"🏗️
The concrete then needs time to gain enough strength. Once it's strong enough, the temporary shuttering and supports are carefully removed.
And tadaaa! ✨
You’re left with the "SOLID RCC SLAB" you see in the second clip.
So those vertical members you saw?
"They were never part of the building. They were just there to help the slab stand until it could stand on its own. 😄"
