Shelly’s Den was built on the family’s ancestral land in Coorg with one intention: to preserve the feeling of home while embracing contemporary living.

Existing trees were retained. A central courtyard became the heart of the design. Every space stays connected to nature, allowing old memories and new experiences to coexist under one roof.

Designed and built entirely in-house, this home reflects a single vision from concept to completion.

Some homes are built. Others are remembered.

Shelly’s Den was designed as a contemporary courtyard home, but its foundation lies in something older than architecture.

Built on the family’s ancestral land in Coorg, the intention wasn’t to recreate the old house, it was to preserve the feeling of it. Existing trees were retained, courtyards became the heart of the plan, and every space was designed to stay connected to nature, just as the home had always been.

Because sometimes, the most meaningful architecture isn’t about replacing the past.
It’s about allowing it to live on in a new form.
