ISHRAE (The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE has since grown rapidly and has more than 7000 HVAC&R Professionals with 30+ chapters and 2500 Students as Members with 19 chapters and 21 sub chapters in India and abroad. ISHRAE organizes International and National Expositions, S
eminars, Quiz Programs, Paper Presentations, Training and Workshops to achieve its primary objective of furthering the Arts and Sciences of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. ISHRAE has published several Technical Guides, ISHRAE Standards and Handbooks on subjects related to Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation. ISHRAE has also developed Indian Weather Data files and Smart Energy - the Hourly Load Calculation Program (HLCP). Membership for ISHRAE is open to individuals from the HVAC & R and allied industries.
