A Home That Softens the Everyday
In this Pune apartment, the brief was deceptively simple: design a home that feels warm without
trying too hard. Across the living, dining, and bedroom zones, the design settles into a language of
gentle contrast — soft curves against straight lines, muted neutrals punctuated by considered pops
of colour, and a material palette that rewards a closer look.
The living
room and dining area share a singular spatial envelope, visually lengthening the public plaza of the
apartment. In the living room, a curved, cloud-like cream bouclé sofa softens the structural lines,
mirrored by the gentle curves of an accent cozy swing framed against floor-to-ceiling window
linens. The television wall is a study in texture, pairing understated micro-fluted walnut veneer
with matte charcoal cabinetry that keeps visual clutter entirely at bay.
