Designing this home was all about seeing potential where others might see limitations.
When the project first came to us, the home felt compact—but it had something rare: beautiful ceiling heights. That vertical space became our playground, letting us stretch the design and elevate each room to feel grand and premium, without needing a larger footprint.
We started with the formal living space—right by the entrance, just to the left of the main door. This room had a clear purpose: a place for guests, a first impression, a warm yet refined welcome. We envisioned a setting where visitors wouldn’t feel like outsiders, but rather like they were being embraced by the home’s personality. With tall curtains, soft white sofas, a striking red console, and a delicate glass chandelier, the space transformed into something elegant, formal, yet instantly inviting.
But the true contrast comes alive in the lounge area. Here, we flipped the script—darker tones, deeper moods, and a more intimate vibe. This was designed as a multi-functional space: a private escape for the family, a home cinema for movie nights, and a party zone when the time called for it. With recliners facing the projection screen, a plush sofa arrangement, and a sleek integrated bar in the corner, we created a room that adapts to moments of both stillness and celebration.
What really sets this space apart are the details. A bold blue mosaic mural greets you as you enter the lounge—its colors echo through the mirrored mosaic tiles behind the bar, catching light and drawing the eye. The materials speak luxury, while the soft furnishings and the deep, cozy palette bring comfort and a sense of familiarity. This is a space designed to make you feel something—to retreat, to reconnect, to reflect.
In the end, this home is a beautiful example of what can happen when we design with the space, not despite it. Height became elegance. Contrast became character. And every corner now tells a story.
