The colour mixing station and the shampoo station overlooking the haircut station is the central work space of at Fatehpura. This area is designed to fit the most used services of the salon in a single space to minimise movement space. Open display area gives a clear view to the customers of the quality products used by the salon. No partition wall in between gives the visitors a sense of big open space, showcasing the art of hairstyling by the owner and his talented daughter

Conceptualised on the lines of a tree, this elevation design is simple yet elegant.
Use of linear elements makes this house facade design stand out from that of it’s surroundings.
The stone used in the facade adds to it’s solidity and elegance.

Architecture: a subject or a reality
The word Architecture can be described in many ways depending on what our perspective is. For some it is a subject to study and share through books, history and others means. For some it is a brand to be used as a style statement. While some use it as a tool to address global issues. For some others it is a path to walk on to create their identity. Well for me it is everything around us. From positioning a nail on the wall to hang pictures, giant corporate hubs to tallest buildings of the world. From small mud houses to museums underwater, it’s everywhere and everything. It is the space which we design and also the space we choose to leave as a void. It is the way of life. Our activities and life styles develop in and around the type to structure and city fabric we choose to live in. Architecture is a powerful medium to open up as well as to change the definition of a place. Thus it weaves the history, reflects the geography, builds the future and influences the socio-culture, leaving a mark on time. It’s a SUBJECT with it’s own REALITY.
