Kashmir has lost a golden voice—Ghulam Mohudin Shah, a beloved and iconic singer, has passed away. His soulful voice touched the hearts of generations and brought our culture to life through music. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings and grant him the highest place in Jannah.

Dua:
اللهم اغفر له وارحمه، وعافه واعف عنه، وأكرم نزله، ووسع مدخله، واغسله بالماء والثلج والبرد، ونقه من الذنوب كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس.

O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him. Grant him peace and ease. Honor his place of rest and expand his grave. Cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him from all sins as a white cloth is purified from dirt.

Gone but never forgotten. His voice will forever echo in the soul of Kashmir.
