A poor and old couple was working as caretaker to a mango agricultural farm. Their land lord provided a room to them, planned to provide electricity for them, he approached to electrical office. The officials told that they are ready to provide electricity to you but the domestic supply is 2KM away from your place so, you should bear the 2 kilo meters costing of lines which will be costing nearly 7 lakhs. Due to heavy budget the land lord stopped his proposal.

The old couple was struggled with a small kerosene lamp, and using mosquito coils for 5 years without electricity.

A kind hearted and a well known hospital MD at Vijayawada was purchased the agricultural farm. The old couple continued with new land lord and requested for the same. He approached us through our business associate to provide solar power solution for the problem and he requested us to install within 24 hours as per his request our team was worked for about 12 hours and handed over to them.

We can do miracles by using solar energy with minimum costing of Rs. 30,000/- including 2 fans and3 LED lights.

Now the poor couple will not sacrifices their life with kerosene lamp and mosquito coils…..

Successfully running story of a young women entrepreneur will inspire upcoming entrepreneurs. The problems and hurdles of a female entrepreneur how she overcomes, given below is a brief story.

Lakshmi Durga was a young entrepreneur she started a tailoring shop with bank loan. She purchased three tailoring machines with electrical motors and provided employment for four members at rural Vijayawada not only that she also takes tailoring class to young girls and housewives. She had good name for prompt delivery and good service. She was leading her life happily and paying bank loans promptly up to December 2013.

From January onwards power cuts began. She and her employees started working when the power is available. Now she got troubles from bank and employees for payments she managed the first month.

On February the power cuts are slowly increased at day time from one hour to four hours. She has lot of work in pending to complete. She was slowly losing her good name of prompt delivery and service. She was unable to pay the payments of shop rent, bank and staff. So, she requested them for some time.

On March the power cuts slowly increased from four hours to eight hours she was unable to manage the valuable customers. So, she started working at night time also to complete the orders. Now her financial position was totally collapsed stage to pay dues. To manage this condition she was taken gold loan to clear the debts.

Now she got pressures from her husband and her in-laws to close the shop and sell all her equipment to clear debts. But she was not ready to close the shop. She contacted the bank manager and explained her position. Bank manager suggested her go to solar power and he given our number to her.

On April 3rd she contacted to HARITHA ENERGY SOLUTIONS to solve her problem and explained about financial condition also. After long discussion our firm agreed to provide the solar unit to her to pay the amount in two installments. Our team installed the unit on 4th of April 2014. Now power cuts increased from eight hours to twelve hours. But, she was not worrying about power cuts her worry was only to clear all debts.

On May 12th our team visited her premises she told happily she was cleared 50% debts. Now she was one of our prestigious customers.

She was empowered herself with solar power. We wish all success in her life.

Willoughby Smith (6 April 1828, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk — 17 July 1891, Eastbourne, Sussex) was an English electrical engineer who discovered the photoconductivity of the element selenium. This discovery led to the invention of photoelectric cells, including those used in the earliest television systems.
In 1848, he began working for the Gutta Percha Company, London where he developed iron and copper wires insulated with gutta-percha to be used for telegraph wires. In 1849, Smith superintended the manufacture and laying of 30 miles of underwater telegraph wire from Dover to Calais. He worked closely with Charles Wheatstone who had designed the machinery for making and laying the cable.
The project was a success and over the following decades, Smith and the company he worked for were involved with many other underwater telegraph cable projects.
In 1873. Smith developed a method for continually testing an underwater cable as it was being laid. For his test circuit, he needed a semi-conducting material with a high resistance and selected selenium rods for this purpose.
The selenium seemed to do the job properly, except in actual use, the device gave inconsistent results. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the conductivity of the selenium rods increased significantly when exposed to strong light.
Smith described the "Effect of Light on Selenium during the passage of an Electric Current" in an article that was published in the 20 February 1873 issue of Nature.
