We at re-connect strongly believe that a lot of the environmental and social problems we face today –climate change, global warming, floods, displacement, draughts, peak oil, consumerism, wild fires, mosquito menace, garbage dumped on streets and landfills, pollution of air, land and water bodies, etc – are a result of a disconnect between us humans and our natural environment wherein we see ourse
lves as separate from our natural environment and our natural environment as something to be exploited. re-connect aims to design spaces based on your needs and the micro & macro conditions in and around your site and encourage ways of life where we are reminded and (made) aware that, however evolved we may be, we are but a small part of a larger eco-system and that our well-being is intertwined with and dependent on the well-being of the wider environment and its well-being is in our own self interest. It is about helping people build their houses, workplaces or other things they may dream of. It is about a way of life in harmony with nature without which we cannot exist. Its about safeguarding our own future and that of our children’ and children’s children’, whatever we may aspire to do in life.
