A decade has passed since I presented my graduation project, “The Story of Babylonian Civilization”— a journey that shaped my belief that architecture does not only shape spaces, but also lives and stories.

​​The project embodies an architectural narrative journey that begins at “The Mastaba,” an elevated open-air ceremonial platform composed of three levels representing the historical eras of Ancient Babylon, allowing visitors to transition fluidly between them through stairs and ramps.
From this point, a sweeping undulating hollow double wall extends across the site, enclosing a sequence of museums and exhibition galleries at varying circulation levels, creating an immersive environment that reconstructs aspects of ancient Babylonian life.
Dominating the skyline, a monumental square tower is defined by layered cuneiform inscriptions inspired by the Hammurabi Stele, expressing the world’s earliest legal codes through architectural form and material articulation.
The journey concludes within a terraced spatial rhythm that aligns with the project’s hierarchical organization, where a continuous water canal orchestrates movement around a circular theater, guiding visitors back to “The Mastaba,” the origin of the journey.
