Visit Amalfi

Visit Amalfi The Amalfi Coast is the world's most beautiful landscape, an intriguing mix between nature culture ! The perfect place to go hiking!

The Amalfi Coast is an intriguing mix between an overwhelming natural environment and the patient labour of men, who has transformed the mountain slopes into a cascade of terraced lemon groves... The landscape changes around every corner, and thousands of beautiful footpaths, some centuries old connect the villages and mountains. But also the road cycling is spectacular, the coastal road is arguab

ly the world's most scenic road, and a winding road brings you up to the statue of the legendary Fausto Coppi at Agerola. And what about sea kayaking from the charming fishing village of Cetara to Amalfi and Positano! the Amalfi Coast is a Paradise from every point of view.

Even in busy Amalfi, there are still quiet back alleys where the real Mediterranean 'dolce vita' can be lived.

Next year - 2024 - will be the 25th year that we are offering our 'Amalfi Coast & Mountains' walking tour – the original since 1999!

It was the first ever 'self-guided' walking tour starting in Agerola, then a sleepy mountain village. Thanks to the collaboration with innovative specialist tour operators, like SNP Natuurreizen from the Netherlands, Exodus from the UK and from France, the first foreign hikers started to explore the area, and Agerola is now a main hub for hikers flocking to Agerola & the Amalfi Coast from all over the world. A beautiful tour, through a stunning landscape, which explores Agerola & the Lattari Mountains, Amalfi & Ravello, the 'Valle dei Mulini' & the ‘Sentiero degli Dei’, Praiano & Positano. All 'Highlights & hidden corners' of the world’s most beautiful coastline!

And to celebrate this 25th year of operation - some 'new' highlights will be added: Gragnano & its stunning Valle dei Mulini', the beautiful Monte Faito & the Monte San Michele, the highest peak of the Sorrento Peninsula!

Down along the Amalfi Coast it gets ever more crowded, the 'Sentiero degli Dei' is almost not doable any longer... Luckily there are still quieter trails, like the 'Alta Via', a real trek, through real mountains! But always with a view on the Mediterrean and southern Italian food & hospitality!

Along the 'Alta Via dei Monti Lattari' from Cava dei Tirreni to the Finis Terrae of the Sorrento Peninsula
