Is it possible to invent and build a world starting from a simple solid shape like a cube? Thanks to its elementary form, C-oso succeeds brilliantly. C-oso’s dimensions make it a seat, a storage container, and a work surface, but also an element that articulates and distinguishes different areas within the same space. Il Villaggio, the new 0-6 Educational Centre for the Municipality of Caerano di San Marco (TV), welcomes children from birth to six years of age, ensuring a unique continuum of care. The area dedicated to older children (roughly aged 3 to 5) is designed as a real village. The traditional classrooms give way to ‘houses’, spaces without physical barriers that open directly onto the multi-purpose hall, the large village square which is the beating heart of the entire Centre.
