Design is not just about form. It is about bringing an emotion back to life.

Today, at the Pininfarina Design Centre in Cambiano, we unveiled the JAS Tensei, designed by Pininfarina.

In 1984, Pininfarina’s HP-X concept paved the way for the legendary NSX. Some forty years later, we have reinterpreted those lines together with Pininfarina.

We widened the proportions, built the body in carbon fibre and took on the boldest challenge: keeping the iconic pop-up headlights, a defining feature of the original design, while re-engineering them with Matrix LED technology and a titanium mechanism.

Inside, the cockpit is pure analogue. Alcantara and full-grain leather meet structural carbon fibre and Sabelt monocoque seats. Every element is designed around the driver, preserving the fighter-jet-inspired visibility that made the original 1990 NSX so distinctive.

On show at the Paris Motor Show from 13 to 18 October.

Paris, 1946. When determination made history.

Excluded from the Paris Motor Show, Battista “Pinin” Farina and his son Sergio took a different road.

They travelled from Turin with two of their creations and displayed them outside the Grand Palais, attracting the attention of visitors and the French press.

The unexpected exhibition became known as “The Antisalon”, a bold gesture that marked a new chapter in Pininfarina history.

Airflow technology and design together for higher performance and better control: this is Aria Design By Pininfarina.

Kona Oficial latest beach tennis racket was conceived with aerodynamics in mind. In particular, aerodynamic geometry was studied for both the overall shape as well as the central pattern of Aria to improve manoeuvrability and lessen air resistance. Aria, in fact, literally translates from Italian to Air, which almost becomes part of the tool, rather than an obstacle to its use.

Designed to move with nature.

The inspiration behind Manta Design by Pininfarina begins beneath the surface of the ocean.

Drawing from the effortless movement of manta rays, the architecture takes shape through sweeping gestures, layered canopies and softly curved forms—creating a sense of lightness and continuous movement.

Even its name carries a dual meaning: Manta evokes both marine life and the idea of a protective blanket—a symbol of comfort, shelter and community.

Born from the encounter between Argentine automotive culture and Italian design, the Torino continues to fascinate with the beauty of its lines, balanced proportions and timeless elegance.

Six decades later, its story lives on through the people who preserve it, drive it and keep its legacy alive across generations and continents.

A weekend celebrating automotive heritage and the timeless lines of some of the most beautiful cars in history.

Last weekend, the 5th edition of Festivalcar brought together an extraordinary selection of automotive icons, including many shaped by Pininfarina across almost a century of design.

For this edition, our designers also created the official poster, celebrating Lancia’s 120th anniversary through three icons: the 1931 Lancia Artena, the 1951 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT and the 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24.

Among the highlights, the Pininfarina Award was presented to a magnificent Ferrari 512 TR by our Chief Creative Officer, Dave Amantea, together with Pietro Camardella, one of the designers behind this iconic car.

Thank you, Concorso d’Eleganza Festival Car , for a memorable celebration of automotive culture.
