MIZAR TA**US: up to 70% volume reduction on steel transport racks.
Imported car body parts such as doors, bonnets, wings and side members travel on racks made of structural steel. At the end of their service life these racks become bulky scrap: open shapes, high rigidity and variable sizes make them low-density and hard to store and handle.
The MIZAR compression box measures 1000 × 600 mm and has a "tank" shape with two hinged swinging lids. The lower lid is hinged along the vertical wall of the chamber, which keeps the material stable during compression. The inner walls are made of thick wear-resistant steel plate.
Each lid can develop a maximum compression force of 200 tons, and so can be fitted by n 3 cylinders per lid. The result is a compact, uniform bale that is easy to handle and store.
