Colour defines spaces and shapes the way we experience them.

At Villa Bellosguardo, the exploration of colour intertwines with the choice of furnishings, blending light geometries with soft volumes to lend character to the home’s most intimate spaces.

Set amongst the olive trees on the Bellosguardo hill, above Florence, this villa has been given a cohesive design.

The renovation reimagines the volumes of the existing building through simple, Mediterranean-inspired forms: white surfaces, regular openings and light structures that cast shadows across the façades.

Gathering round a table, with Florence in the background.

The living area of Villa Bellosguardo embraces everyday life through light-filled spaces and views that connect the kitchen, dining room and garden.
A design that makes room for the habits and stories of those who live in the house.

In the Chianti landscape, the architecture opens up to outdoor living.

The villa, the pool, the garden, and the courtyards form a series of interconnected spaces, designed to follow the natural contours of the land and allow you to experience the landscape from ever-changing perspectives.

The before-and-after comparison reveals a profound transformation that has given the building a new future without erasing its history.

Our restoration has redefined the building’s volumes, restored the original openings, and reestablished the architecture’s coherence, while preserving its proportions and character.

The selection of materials is never a mere formality.

Each sample is sought out, proposed, paired with others, and examined in the light to assess its hues, textures, and how it interacts with the other elements of the project.

It is through this research that each space finds its own character: not merely a collection of finishes, but a composition designed specifically for that place and for those who will live there.

Every building already has its own story. A project should not erase it, but understand it.

The construction site is where this dialogue takes shape: observing what already exists, adapting solutions when needed, and ensuring that every new intervention finds its place naturally.

Villa a Riparbella. The house does not impose itself on the landscape. It is the landscape that shapes the house.

New openings, spaces and rooms were designed to frame the surrounding countryside, making the Tuscan landscape a constant presence in everyday life.
