On the lower floor, an installation from the Intersection series, one of the most significant bodies of work in Felix Schramm’s practice and in his longstanding relationship with the gallery.

Through an apparently destructive gesture, the artist generates a new spatial configuration, calling into question architecture as a stable structure. Space thus reveals itself not only as a physical condition but also as a mental and perceptual experience.

The Skin of TIme by Felix Schramm will be on view until November 7, 2026.

Olivia Bax is part of That Which Appears, a group show co-curated by Olivia Bax & James Fisher at Sid Motion Gallery, London.

‘That Which Appears’ explores the window as a site of perception, memory and mediation. Bringing together historical and contemporary practices, the exhibition considers the window as both a literal and psychological threshold: between interior and exterior, self and world, presence and reflection. The exhibition aims to open a dialogue across generations, bringing different approaches to the window and its many meanings into conversation.

On view until October 31, 2026

Last days to see “Figure, not Figure”, a project bringing together the works of four contemporary painters: Emmanuelle Castellan, Scott McCracken, Mirela Moscu and Luca Zarattini.

The project stems from this formal yet poetic reflection, giving shape to an exhibition that intertwines the practices of four artists from different backgrounds, united by layered and highly personal interpretations of contemporary figuration. At the core of the works — whether explicitly present or only faintly evoked — emerges the human figure: a presence that appears, dissolves, leaves traces, or survives as memory.

On view until July 17, 2026.

Focus On: Luca Zarattini
At the core of the works — whether explicitly present or only faintly evoked — emerges the human figure: a presence that appears, dissolves, leaves traces, or survives as memory.

My work is less about representation and more about revealing a state of continuous transformation—where images remain open, unstable, and alive. - Luca Zarattini

The painter who emancipates themselves from strict fidelity to the real or the recognizable — to the familiar and the credible — embraces a risk that, veiled in ambiguity, may compromise plastic values historically regarded as resolved.

Focus On: Scott McCracken
Scott McCracken develop pictorial languages in which figurative elements emerge as traces, echoes, or fragments. Recognizable anatomical, architectural, or landscape references persist, yet he appear to invoke a memory of reality only to redirect the viewer’s gaze toward another suspended and evocative dimension.

I don’t tend to think of the paintings as being finished or unfinished, neither on nor off; only that they exist in different states of being, and through their making I’m trying to find a point where the painting approaches a kind of wholeness. A wholeness of parts. The paintings shouldn’t really be sure of themselves, they are paintings that think out loud as it were, that decide one thing and then change their minds. - Scott McCracken

Focus On: Mirela Moscu Mirela Moscu
At the core of the works — whether explicitly present or only faintly evoked — emerges the human figure: a presence that appears, dissolves, leaves traces, or survives as memory.
Alongside these visions stands the practice of Mirela Moscu, in which physiognomic traits seem to dissolve and merge into dense constellations of marks and chromatic touches, generating images in a constant state of transformation.

Emmanuelle Castellan
Emmanuelle Castellan’s works are distinguished by incisive, sharp-edged gestures capable of defining suspended presences, caught in sidelong glances or immersed in shadowy atmospheres, like fragments of thought translated into painting.

“Painting allows me to create abstract narratives, composed of silhouettes, ghostly presences and landscapes, but also to work with a medium that is so present in its own right. What interests me above all in painting is the relationship between gestures, bodies and frames; between the initial intention and all the stages that ultimately bring an image or a presence to life. I do not see my practice as linear, even though I have my habits, but rather as a slow journey that trains me to look at the images that surround me and that form part of my culture and my history.” - Emmanuelle Castellan
