AG&P greenscape

World Environment Day 🌍 | June, 5

This year’s World Environment Day is an opportunity to reflect on how cities can respond to environmental challenges through concrete actions and long-term strategies. In this context, the recent announcement by Silvia Salis and Francesca Coppola on the introduction of depaving into Genoa’s Urban Plan sends a strong message: protecting natural resources and giving space back to nature must become an integral part of urban transformation.

For AG&P, Liguria represents an important testing ground for exploring these themes. Many of the projects that embody this approach are located in Genoa, where landscape and public space play a key role in addressing environmental and climate challenges.

It is an encouraging signal that highlights the growing importance of environmental awareness in shaping the future of our cities and communities.

We have practiced depaving in lots of projects through the last years. To learn more about our approach and the projects featured in this post, visit our website.

Urban regeneration today is a complex process that goes beyond reuse, becoming a tool to reconnect cities with their landscapes and communities.

The Genova coastline projects: Parco delle Dune, Parco della Lanterna and the Waterfront di Levante, represent a systemic approach where green and blue infrastructures redefine the relationship between city and water.

Through these interventions, fragmented and inaccessible areas are transformed into a continuous network of public spaces, improving accessibility, environmental performance, and collective well-being.

🌿 World Biodiversity Day

On the occasion of World Biodiversity Day, we chose to share Parco delle Dune as an example of how biodiversity can become part of everyday urban life.

The project reflects the importance of creating healthier and more balanced environments, strengthening the relationship between people, landscape, and nature within the contemporary city.

From the studio terrace to the city, Linfa engages with space in a natural and fluid way, adapting to the rhythms of everyday urban life and enriching the urban landscape.

Designed to integrate into public environments, the bench becomes part of streets, squares and shared spaces.
A place for pause, exchange and informal interaction.
Its modular system allows for different configurations, shaping the urban fabric and responding to the dynamic nature of collective life.
A project that moves between object and environment, defining a subtle yet continuous presence within the city.

Here, design becomes part of the landscape, have you noticed?

We’re pleased to share that Linfa
has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2026 in the Product Design category.

Conceived to integrate into any context, whether an urban environment or a space surrounded by nature, Linfa is a bench that explores the balance between aesthetics and functionality: an essential and refined design paired with a solid and practical structure.

Developed as a modular seating system, it offers flexibility in the configuration of spaces, with a range of finishes and colors that allow it to adapt to different identities and contexts.
Linfa stands out in public contexts characterized by a lively social life, becoming an element that fosters aggregation and conviviality.

The name Linfa comes from the idea of a simple and continuous line that gives life to a new element, like sap, a vital and organic force reflected in its design.

The collaboration between AG&P greenscape and Cattaneo design combines landscape and product expertise, merging aesthetics, functionality and style.
