The construction work of the residential buildings in Via Pestalozzi in Milan is almost completed.
The building facing the street is characterized by an urban façade, while the others form a sequence of courtyards that traverse the block towards its inner core.

The typological connection to the ground establishes a clear relationship with the city's historical fabric, while acting as a filter between the private dimension and public space. Depending on orientation and layout, each façade features slight variations, unified by a coherent material and color palette.

A glimpse behind the scenes of the Cavallerizza Reale construction site - where Cino Zucchi and Michele C***o recently took part in a dedicated guided tour.

The walk-through, part of the “Cantieri aperti" initiative promoted by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Urban Lab Torino, offered a chance to share thoughts on the project and the ongoing transformation of this important historic complex.

We are delighted to see The Welcoming Citadel unveiled for the first time in the March issue of Architectural Record.

This residential care community in Riva del Garda, designed by Cino Zucchi Architetti, Euro Project engineering consulting, and Arturo Busetto, reimagines a historic hospital site as a contemporary assisted-living facility, seamlessly integrating architecture with the surrounding landscape and urban fabric.

As part of the exhibition-event “Milestone: 10 Anni Mercurio”, opening today to celebrate a decade of Associazione Mercurio, Cino Zucchi contributed with “Reparatory Psyco-Pop Decolonization on a Set of French Drawing Curves Pre-Owned by a Male Chauvinist Architect, circa 1955”.

This work – that together with the other creations will be sold at a charity auction, whose proceeds will be donated to support the educational projects of Associazione Mercurio – transforms vintage drawing tools into an abstract, contemporary pattern: “Through reflections and repetitions of black and white lines with an almost ‘tribal’ aesthetic, the shapes of ‘sexist’ 1950s drawing curves dissolve into a pure abstract pattern; a contemporary ‘eye-pleaser’ that humorously highlights the long road traveled and yet to be traveled toward gender equality in the artistic and professional fields,” says Cino Zucchi.

The exhibition is curated by the “Compasso d’Oro” designers Giulio Iacchetti, Lorenzo Palmeri, and Matteo Ragni, in collaboration with the ADI Design Museum, Stone Italiana, (distributed in Italy by Osama S.p.A.), , and with the patronage of the Comune di Milano and the support of Fondazione Cariplo.
