[ITA&ENG] Con un po’ di immaginazione… il posto perfetto per le serate d’estate.

Anche gli spazi esterni hanno un ruolo importante in una ristrutturazione. Per la terrazza di questa cascina abbiamo scelto, insieme ai proprietari, un pavimento in legno resistente, pensato per essere pratico ma anche coerente con il carattere dell’edificio.

Il richiamo alle travi del tetto a vista crea continuità tra interno ed esterno, lasciando spazio alla vera protagonista: la vista sulle colline.

[ITA&ENG] Qui, nel centro storico di Mondovì, abbiamo scelto un grigio contemporaneo per la facciata e di sostituire le persiane con tapparelle, per alleggerire l’insieme e rendere più pulite le geometrie esistenti.

Allo stesso tempo, abbiamo mantenuto i balconi originali, perché fanno parte dell’identità del palazzo e creano continuità con il contesto.
In interventi come questo, si tratta sempre di trovare un punto di incontro tra passato e presente, senza forzature.

Here, in Mondovì’s historic center, we went for a contemporary grey on the façade and we replaced the shutters with roller shades, for a more streamlined look that enhances the existing geometries.

At the same time, we decided to keep the original balconies, because they’re part of the building’s identity and create continuity with its surroundings. In projects like this, the goal is always to find a balance between the past and the present, without distortions.
