HUB FOR RESEARCH, TRAINING AND EXPERIMENTAL AGRICULTURAL CENTER FOR WINE AND OLIVE OIL / Architectural competition / Rionero in Vulture (PZ) - Borgo di Monticchio Bagni
The new building is organized under a large pitched roof. It has flat and horizontal development and it is surrounded by educational crops. A placid landscape architecture. It dialogues with the roofs of the village and ancient traditional buildings. The porch, three meters wide, provides spaces for meeting and discussion around all the perimeter of the building. This sheltered path connects the bus stop to the west, the sequence of environments of the agricultural center, the olive grove to the north, the vineyard to the south, the Visitor Center to the east.
The linear layout is simple, flexible and adaptable. The rooms are structured sequentially along the southwest-northeast axis. The materials are essential, wood, local limestone from the Murgecchia quarries, brick, and glass.

HUB DI RICERCA, FORMAZIONE E CENTRO AGRICOLO SPERIMENTALE ENOLOGICO E OLEARIO / Concorso di progettazione / Rionero in Vulture (PZ) – Borgo di Monticchio Bagni
Il nuovo edificio è organizzato sotto un grande tetto a falde che richiama l’edilizia antica locale. Elemento paesaggistico placido, dialoga con i tetti del borgo. Sul perimetro il portico, largo tre metri, spazio di incontro e di confronto. Un percorso riparato che collega la fermata del bus a ovest, la sequenza di ambienti del centro agricolo, l’uliveto a nord, il vigneto a sud , fino alla scalinata verso il Centro Visite a est. L'impianto compositivo lineare è semplice, flessibile e adattabile. Gli ambienti sono strutturati in sequenza lungo l’asse sudovest-nordest. L'abaco dei materiali è essenziale, legno, pietra calcarea locale delle cave della Murgecchia, laterizio e vetro.
