六本木交差点に面するビルの一角に、コンディショニングサロンをデザインした。

絶えず人や光が行き交う街の気配を、遮断するのではなく、柔らかく受け止めながら、そのなかで自身のコンディションと向き合える空間を目指した。

長い曲面窓の柔らかさを繋ぐように、緩やかなアールを受付の壁や施術室の開口へと展開し、その緩やかな流れを、鏡と透過ガラスによる視線の重なりへと繋いだ。
ブラウンの透過ガラス越しに奥の空間や窓辺の景色を重ねることで、個室性を保ちながら都市の風景と空間との繋がりを持たせた。

都市の速さのなかにありながら、柔らかな光と素材に包まれ、心身がゆっくりと整っていくための「穏やかな余白」をつくり出している。

MAAD has completed the design of a conditioning salon situated at the prominent Roppongi crossing in Tokyo.

Rather than isolating the space from the relentless flow of urban light and movement, the design softly embraces the city's presence, establishing a quiet sanctuary for sensory realignment.

The soft geometry of the existing curved windows serves as the primary design cue. Gentle arches unfold across the reception walls and treatment room portals, guiding both gaze and movement inward. This fluid transition dissolves into a layered play of reflections and transparency; brown-tinted glass filters the inner chambers and the streetscape beyond, balancing absolute privacy with a visual connection to the city.

Amidst the high velocity of Roppongi, the space offers a "gentle margin"—a tactile retreat wrapped in soft light and raw textures where mind and body can slowly recalibrate.
