SECO’s facilities include a fully-equipped shipyard covering an area of 52, 246 square meters which is strategically located at the entrance to the port of Mombasa, a 160 meter jetty with a draft of 7.5 meter as well as two modern floating docks with a combined lifting capacity of 1200 metric tons. In addition, SECO’s facilities include a 2200 square meter workshop floor space facilitating fabrication, mechanical, carpentry, electrical and electronic workshops with modern equipment. The infrastructure is harmonized by a dedicated team of 600 qualified and experienced personnel including Management, Naval Architects, Engineers, Tradesmen and Support Staff. Of late, the company has achieved significant growth through the expansion of its dry docking facilities and engineering workshop with sophisticated machinery to meet the high standards and particular requirements of its clients.
