Time flies!
Ten years ago this month, Powerhive became Kenya's first privately licensed utility company, breaking a 53 year monopoly and ushering in a new era of decentralized energy access.
Since then we've followed our belief that a utility company should not just provide a useful service, but should work to measurably improve lives. That’s why we’ve paired energy access with community development programs that uplift, empower, and transform lives.
Today, with over 20 operational sites across western Kenya, we’re proud to reflect on a decade of delivering clean, reliable power, and so much more, to the communities we serve.
