Did you know the purpose of a tractor in aviation?

An aircraft pushback tractor also known as a towing tractor is used for towing an aircraft on ground between different locations in the airport.

It helps reverse an aircraft, get it back on the runway and steer it in a correct position on a taxiway and bring an aircraft out and inside the hangar from anywhere in the airport.

The reason for using the airport tractor is because an aircraft engine is not designed for moving an aircraft on ground at 10-30 km/hr.

The engine is designed for moving the aircraft at high cruising speeds. The engines are fuel inefficient at low speeds and fuel efficient at their optimal speeds.

Secondly, most aircrafts cannot reverse themselves as they do not have a reverse thrust mechanism that can theoretically allow it to reverse and that’s where the pushback tractors come in for on ground maneuvering of the aircraft.

Construction of the tank is a process that can be divided into four main stages. These stages are: design, production, assembly, and testing. Each stage has its own specific purpose and is necessary for the construction of a safe and functional tank

Drip irrigation, is an irrigation method that saves water and
fertilizer by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of many
different plants, either onto the soil surface or directly onto the root zone, through a network of valves, pipes, tubing, and emitters. It is done through narrow tubes that deliver water directly to the base of the plant.
The advantages of drip irrigation are:
1. Fertilizer and nutrient loss is minimized due to localized
application and reduced leaching.
2. Water application efficiency is high if managed correctly
3. Field levelling is not necessary.
4. Fields with irregular shapes are easily accommodated.
5. Recycled nonpotable
6. water can be safely used.
7. Moisture within the root zone can be maintained at field
capacity.
8. Soil type plays less important role in frequency of irrigation.
9. Soil erosion is lessened.
10. W**d growth is lessened.
11. Water distribution is highly uniform, controlled by output of
each nozzle.
12. Labour cost is less than other irrigation methods.
13. Variation in supply can be regulated by regulating the valves
and drippers.
14. Fertigation can easily be included with minimal waste of
fertilizers.
15. Foliage remains dry, reducing the risk of disease.
16. Usually operated at lower pressure than other types of
pressurized irrigation, reducing energy costs....................................................................................................................irrigation for sustainable agricultural development. We, Goodlands Africa Limited, are committed to offer what it take in irrigation sector. Karibu wote, asanteni.
