Desludging is one of the most important things to do because it protects and prolongs the life of the Johkasou wastewater treatment system.

The longer you take to desludge when it is due, the more the final quality of the wastewater is compromised.

Treated sludge contains valuable organic matter and nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus, and can therefore be very useful as a fertiliser or soil improver.
