We served as project architects for the A–J buildings at the UN Office at Nairobi, working alongside Dar Al-Omran (Jordan) as design architects. Our role was to guide the team in adapting the design to the local context while meeting the full scope of the client's needs.

The brief centered on achieving Net Zero Carbon buildings, sustainable and low-maintenance while creating a pleasant working environment for their users.

icolo.io appointed us to develop a contextual identity for the customer-facing spaces across their data centres. MBA2 is the latest and the reception sets the tone for the facility beyond.
The timber canopy overhead reads as data made physical, each slat a bit in a stream, pulsing across the ceiling toward the branded arch at the far end. Below, a white reception desk sits against the warmth of the wood. The first impression a data center should make.
Fluid forms and dynamic volumes are how we build experience into a room, and it's become something of a signature here, a single gesture turns an arrival sequence into a moment.

The 180-key development is designed for efficiency and flexibility, serving both business and leisure travellers. Guests can look forward to two restaurants and bars, a landscaped courtyard with a fire pit, a rooftop fitness centre and 18-metre pool, and dedicated indoor and outdoor event spaces.
The project holds Preliminary EDGE Advanced Certification, underscoring our commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency from the ground up.

A workplace designed to perform as beautifully as it looks. The defining feature of Westlands Tech Park is its flowing façade, which wraps around the building to create balconies, provide shade and give the development its distinctive identity. Beyond its sculptural appearance, the façade helps reduce heat gain while allowing generous natural light into the office spaces.

The 60,000 sqm proposal is designed with sustainability at its core. The buildings are carefully positioned to encourage natural ventilation, maximize daylight and create comfortable working environments while reducing the need for excessive mechanical cooling. The siting also improves air quality and helps reduce noise levels, creating a healthier and more enjoyable environment for people to work in.

With an 85% floor plate efficiency, the design balances functionality with architectural expression, creating flexible office spaces that are efficient for businesses and enjoyable for the people who use them.

It is a vision for the future of Nairobi's workplaces, where thoughtful design, sustainability and commercial performance come together.

Commissioned by SYBYL Kenya, we designed their offices to embody a workplace that is both technologically sophisticated and effortlessly functional. At reception, timber folds into bold, origami-inspired planes, framing the red reception desk and setting the tone from the first step in. In the boardroom, that same material softens into flowing walnut waves, bringing warmth and acoustic performance to a highly technical workspace.

The brief called for a minimal, flexible environment that could adapt to different ways of working. Every design decision from the sculptural ceilings to the open-plan layout and integrated technology was driven by this vision.

Beyond aesthetics, the workspace incorporates an intelligent building automation system that optimizes lighting and air conditioning based on occupancy and daylight levels, improving comfort while reducing energy consumption and the building's carbon footprint. Working alongside local and international partners, we delivered a seamless, intuitive solution where performance, sustainability, and design come together.
