As you may imagine, the Sanctuary, being at the heart of our work was exceptionally special to us. The 4000 seats are set in contrasting colours that catches your eye in the glorious light, more so from the altar thanks to the altar bulkhead.
In addition, we had wooden panels installed on the seats as well as special cloth on the walls to provide equilibrium on the quality of the acoustic across the Sanctuary.

The terrace was done to creatively bring the serene outside in through glass atrium that allows natural light and provides shade during times of rainy weather. The steel frames are clad in mvuli wood and the wide, brightly coloured couches blocked with green artificial grass to give that additional life to the space.

For the outside of the sanctuary, we employed the use of a pergola canopy to create a temporary haven in the shade while using the foot paths; in addition the visual aesthetics from a vantage point was a welcome bonus.

Welcome to a grand tour of the FEM Family Church, Karen.
It’s only fitting that we start from the grand entrance, which sets precedence to the main structure. For the doors, we chose to go with hand-crafted Lamu doors that would give a medieval feel of power, mystic and authority.
