During 2–6 March 2026, Kawada Techno System (KTS) in collaboration with Mekong Consultants Co., Ltd. (MKC) conducted a Market Survey in Lao PDR, covering Vientiane Capital and Luang Prabang.
The key activities of the survey included introducing and promoting the Vinas CAD software to various professional organizations, academic institutions, and engineering-related entities, including:

On 22 January 2026, the Head Consulting Office, led by Dr. Kongkeo Phamavanh, President of the Company, together with the project team, convened a meeting to review and summarize the progress of the project titled:
“Feasibility Study for the Development of an International Port, Logistics Zone, Commercial and Service Area, Agricultural Zone, and Tourism Area in Long District, Luang Namtha Province.”
During the meeting, the project team presented and reviewed the progress of key technical components, including survey and design works, GIS analysis, urban planning, environmental and social studies, economic analysis, and other related technical activities.
The meeting served as an important step in finalizing and preparing the project report for submission to NCC Co., LTD and the Department of Waterways, in accordance with the project implementation plan.

During the period from February 2025 to January 2026, spanning one year, the Foundation for Advanced Studies on International Development (FASID), in collaboration with Mekong Consultants Co., Ltd. (MKC), implemented the JICA Ex-Post Evaluation Survey for Forest Projects in Luang Prabang and Oudomxay Provinces.
The activities conducted under this assignment included meetings with the Department of Forestry, PAFO, and DAFO; community interviews; and monitoring of forest maintenance and conservation activities, carried out jointly with PAFO, DAFO, and community leaders of villages in the two provinces where the following projects had previously been implemented: the Participatory Land and Forest Management Project for Reducing Deforestation and the Sustainable Forest Management and REDD+ Support Project.
These projects were successfully completed in accordance with their intended objectives.

The representative of Mekong Consultants Co., Ltd.; as a past HOF awardee; was officially invited by the Honda Foundation to participate in an international symposium on healthcare and transportation, held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 31 October to 2 November 2025. The symposium was attended by participants from Bangladesh, Japan, Lao PDR, Myanmar, India, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The participation included attending symposium sessions, joining rural field visits, and engaging in technical and policy discussions. During the symposium, the Mekong Consultants representative shared insights on transport development and challenges in Lao PDR, particularly the linkages between transport accessibility and health care services. The engagement strengthened international knowledge exchange, supported regional cooperation, and enhanced the visibility of Lao transport experience at the international level.

Between 8–14 December 2025, the 3rd Traffic Management Pilot was conducted in the World Heritage Area of Luang Prabang under the Project on Sustainable Urban and Traffic Management, funded by JICA. The project was implemented with the International Consultant, Katahira & Engineers International, in collaboration with the Local Consultant, Mekong Consultants Co., Ltd. The main activities included the establishment of a car-free zone, a Park & Ride (P&R) trial, traffic and temporary parking management, installation of temporary traffic signage, and arrangement of public transport stops, carried out in close coordination with the International Consultant, Traffic Police, the Department and Office of Public Works and Transport of Luang Prabang Province, and other relevant stakeholders.
