📌 أهمية الزمن الدوري الزلزالي (Seismic Period)

الزمن الدوري (T) هو الزمن الذي يستغرقه المبنى لإتمام اهتزازة واحدة عند تعرّضه لزلزال.

🔹 لماذا هو مهم؟

يحدد مقدار القوى الزلزالية المؤثرة على المبنى

كلما زاد الزمن الدوري 👉 تقل القوى عادةً، لكن تزداد الإزاحات ⚠️

يُستخدم مباشرة في حسابات الكودات مثل UBC 97 و IBC

🔸 الفرق بين الزمن الدوري للمبنى والتربة:

✔️ الزمن الدوري للمبنى (T₍building₎):
يتأثر بـ:

ارتفاع المبنى

نوع النظام الإنشائي (جدران قص، إطارات…)

صلابة العناصر الإنشائية

✔️ الزمن الدوري للتربة (T₍soil₎):
يتأثر بـ:

نوع التربة (رخوة أو صلبة)

خصائص الموقع الجيوتكنيكية

⚠️ الخطر الأكبر: ظاهرة الرنين (Resonance)
تحدث عندما: T₍building₎ ≈ T₍soil₎

عندها تتضخم الاهتزازات بشكل كبير 💥
→ مما يؤدي إلى زيادة خطورة الأضرار

🎯 الخلاصة: التصميم الزلزالي الجيد لا يهدف فقط إلى تقليل القوى،
بل إلى تحقيق توازن بين:
✔️ القوى
✔️ الإزاحات
✔️ الاستقرار العام

ملاحظة مهمة:تجنّب توافق الزمن الدوري بين المبنى والتربة ،وهذا ما يوضحه الشرح في الفيديو

A 135° hook ensures proper anchorage, keeps the core confined, and maintains the integrity of the column or beam during loading.

🔹 Lap Length in RC Structures | ACI 318

Lap Length is the overlap length between reinforcing bars used to transfer forces through bond with concrete, without welding or mechanical splices.

🧱 Slab

• Reinforcement is mainly in tension
• Lap Length ≈ 40–60 db
• Lap splices should not be placed at mid-span or over columns
• Preferred location: low-moment zones

---

🟦 Beam

• Bottom reinforcement is always in tension
• Lap Length ≈ 50–60 db
• Avoid lap splices at beam–column joints
• Place splices away from maximum moment regions

---

🟫 Column

• Reinforcement is mainly in compression
• Lap Length ≈ 30–40 db (minimum 300 mm)
• Splices should be located at the mid-height of the story
• Avoid splices near footings and joints

---

⚠️ ACI Notes

• Lap splices are restricted in high moment regions
• Special limits apply in seismic structures
• Rule-of-thumb values do not replace code calculations

📌 Buckling of Columns

🔹 What is Buckling?
A sudden failure where a column bends sideways under axial compression instead of crushing.

🔹 Why does it happen?
Long, slender columns become unstable — a small lateral deflection grows rapidly with load.

🔸 How to Check for Buckling

Compare:

Applied load (P)

Critical buckling load (Pcr)

✔ If P < Pcr → Safe
✘ If P ≥ Pcr → Buckling risk

Pinned–Pinned: 1.0

Fixed–Fixed: 0.5

Fixed–Pinned: 0.7

Fixed–Free (Cantilever): 2.0

Always check slenderness and apply P-Δ / moment magnification.

💧 ما هو الـ Waterstop؟

الـ Waterstop هو شريط مطاطي أو PVC يُوضع داخل الخرسانة عند الفواصل الإنشائية ليمنع مرور المياه من خلالها.

هو خط الدفاع الأول ضد التسرب في:

✔️ الخزانات
✔️ البيزمنت
✔️ الأنفاق
✔️ محطات المياه
✔️ الجدران الاستنادية

⭐ أهميته:

1️⃣ يمنع تسرب المياه 100%

أي فاصل بدون Waterstop هو نقطة ضعف…
الماء بيدخل من أصغر "شِقّ".

2️⃣ يحمي الحديد من الصدأ

التسرب = رطوبة = صدأ = ضعف في المنشأ.

3️⃣ يزيد عمر المنشأ

وجود Waterstop يقلل صيانة وأعمال حقن مستقبلية (والتي تكون مكلفة جداً).

4️⃣ يعمل حتى لو حصل Crack

لأنه موجود داخل الخرسانة و"يقطع" مسار الماء.

⭐ في أي مكان يتم تركيبه؟

Construction joints (فواصل الصب).

Expansion joints (الفواصل التمددية).

حول خزانات المياه والقواعد خصوصاً.

عند التقاء جدار + بلاطة تحت الأرض.

⭐ أنواعه:

1) PVC Waterstop (الأكثر انتشاراً)

مرن، قوي، يتحمل ضغط المياه.

2) Swellable Waterstop

ينتفخ عند ملامسة الماء ويسكر الفراغات.
يُستخدم خصوصاً مع الأنفاق والبيزمنت.

3) Rubber Waterstop

للمنشآت ذات الضغط العالي جداً (سدود، خزانات كبيرة).

⭐ أخطاء شائعة لازم تنتبه لها:

❌ لا يوضع قريب من وجه الخرسانة (لازم يكون داخلها).
❌ لا يقص أو يقطع خلال الصب.
❌ الربط بين القطع يجب أن يكون ملحوم بشكل صحيح.
❌ يجب ان يثبت بشكل دقيق حتى لا يتحرك خلال الصب.
