Amoda Rathnayake Associates ARA | We Create Happy Spaces
We’re a team of creative designers specializing in interior design, construction, and branding. That’s our PASSION and our SUCCESS.

From retail and residential to commercial spaces, we design and build environments where people thrive with Happiness. We believe in Simplicity and we design the Futures in mind. Our team’s creative perspective brings together ideas from across cultures, activities, building types, events, and landscapes to realize a vision that connects clients and their dreams…

Be the design, Commercial, Residential or Recreational in nature, each project is a brand new beginning for us since we do not 'box our thinking' to a specific school of thought. We, as a team will play with SPACE and ensure aesthetically, functional and emotional values to the client while helping to create a more comfortable life cycle in respect to art, culture, sociology, aesthetics, and light. We respect and value our clients, their thinking and dreams. Through listening, observing and collaborating closely with our clients we discover opportunities to amplify the character of a design blended with our creativity. We always commit and drive ourselves to convert the dreams of clients to a reality, which is beyond their expectation.

Transforming this space into a space that spreads happiness.

Carpeting in progress, because the floor is what carries the people, moments, and memories that make a space come alive.
A happier space is coming soon.

Every child deserves a space to dream, play, grow, and simply be themselves.
Because Happy Spaces are more than places we live in they are where childhood memories begin, imagination takes shape, and little dreams grow.
Here’s to creating Happy Spaces for every generation.

Before, it was just a space. After, it became a Happy Space. From the first sketch to the final build, every detail was designed with a happy workplace culture in mind.

An idea becomes a sketch. A sketch becomes a design. A design becomes a space. ARA’s Happy Space, brought to life. We create happy spaces.

Good design starts with understanding.

It’s not about creating what I like. It’s about understanding a client’s imagination, finding the words they can’t express, and turning their vision into a space they can truly call their own.

Design is people.

The most meaningful spaces are the ones that do more than look beautiful. They shape how people think, work, connect, and lead.

Another Happy Space brought to life with refined details and a clear purpose creating a workplace that reflects the vision and ambition of those within it.

Because great spaces don’t just surround people. They inspire them.

The most rewarding part of what we do isn’t completing a project it’s seeing a dream come to life.
This office began as our client’s imagination. Today, it stands as a space filled with timeless elegance, purpose, and personality.
We wanted to create more than a beautiful workplace. We wanted to create an environment where every day feels inspiring a place people are proud to walk into each morning and comfortable enough to spend most of their day.
Thank you for trusting us to bring your vision to life.

Every great project begins with a vision, and this one was inspired by art.

For Esna Jewellery Colombo at One Galle Face, we brought artistic elements into the space, creating an interior that feels elegant, timeless, and thoughtfully crafted.

Because great design is more than creating a beautiful space. It’s about turning art and ideas into something people can experience.

Art brought to life through design.
