We are excited to share a glimpse of our latest work—an early-stage proposal for a restaurant extension.

Today we had our first meeting with a valued client under our renewed ARC identity — a meaningful and exciting start.

At ARC, we are truly passionate about what we do. Architecture and engineering are not just services for us — they are responsibilities. From the very first discussion, we explore all possible design options that can realistically be achieved within the project vision.

We carefully evaluate each alternative together with its associated construction cost, based on current market conditions. By doing this early in the process, we help our clients make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary financial shocks during construction.

Our approach integrates:
• Compliance with planning regulations and statutory requirements
• Practical zoning of required spaces
• Clear spatial organization
• Visual appearance and architectural character
• Technical feasibility
• Cost awareness aligned with current market conditions

Beyond functionality and cost clarity, we are also planning to adopt a strong low-carbon design strategy. We aim to incorporate local craftsmanship and locally sourced materials wherever possible, reducing embodied carbon and taking responsibility for minimising environmental impact.

As ARC, we are eagerly looking forward to seeing this building rise into the Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka skyline — not only as a structure, but as a responsible and sustainable contribution to the built environment.
