Vasara nuostabi, bet gražaus s**o norime visus metus. Tai čia tokį ir įrenginėjame. Didžioji dalis kompozicijos - spygliuočiai, plius būrelis rožinių rododendrų.
Dekoratyvus bus net vidury žiemos.
Bet žydėjimo metu - ypač!

Summer is wonderful, but we want a beautiful garden all year round.
That’s exactly the kind of garden we’re creating here. Most of the planting consists of conifers, complemented by a group of pink rhododendrons.
It will look decorative even in the middle of winter.
But when the rhododendrons bloom — especially so!

Kartais sodui reikia ne egzotikos.
Kartais reikia tiesiog alyvų.
Ilgą laiką jos buvo laikomos „močiučių sodu“, bet dabar Europoje kraštovaizdžio architektai jas vėl atranda. Dėl spalvos, kvapo, atsparumo ir to nepakartojamo gegužės jausmo.

Sometimes a garden doesn’t need exotic plants.
Sometimes it simply needs lilacs.
For a long time they were seen as an “old-fashioned grandmother’s garden” plant, but landscape architects across Europe are rediscovering them — for their colour, fragrance, resilience and that unmistakable feeling of May.

Kartais sodui nereikia visų paletės spalvų.
Užtenka dviejų gerų. Ir kažko dygliuoto fone :)
Balta ir violetinė — ramus, švarus ir ilgaamžis derinys, tinkantis beveik visur.

Sometimes a garden doesn’t need every colour in the palette.

Two good ones are enough. And something spiky in the background 🙂

White and violet create a calm, clean and timeless combination that works almost anywhere.

Rododendrų žydėjimas Nyderlanduose.

Visiems labai patiko, kaip tempėme 500 kg rododendrą. Ir mes tai prisimename, ačiū, jis jaučiasi gerai 😀 Rododendrai turi vieną supergalią — jie sukuria miško jausmą net visiškai naujame sklype. Ne tik žydėdami - jie juk visžaliai. O jei dar dideli... O čia visiems pasidžiaugti įvairūs rododendrai iš Vokietijos. Tuoj pat ir pas mus 🙂

Everyone really enjoyed watching us move that 500 kg rhododendron — and yes, we remember it too 😄 Thankfully, it’s doing well!
Rhododendrons have a superpower: they can create a woodland feeling even in a completely new garden.
Not only when flowering — they’re evergreen, after all. And when they’re large… even more so.
Meanwhile, here are some beautiful rhododendrons from the Germany for everyone to enjoy. Soon, there will be plenty blooming here too 🙂

Vizualizacijos reikalingos ne tam, kad sodas būtų „identiškas paveikslėliui“. Nes augalai auga, ir sodas nuolatos keičiasi. Priklausomai nuo daugybės aplinkybių, pradedant nuo žiemos atšiaurumo ir pavasario lietaus, o baigiant augintiniais ir šeimininkės nuotaika.

Vizualizacijos reikalingos tam, kad prieš sodinant jau matytųsi nuotaika, mastelis ir jaustųsi s**o erdvė.

Plants grow, seasons change, and the garden keeps evolving all the time — depending on everything from harsh winters and spring rain to pets and the owner’s mood.

Visualizations exist so that even before planting, you can already feel the atmosphere, the scale and the space of the future garden.

Formalaus s**o pavyzdys!

Jei kas mano, kad senovėje sodai buvo natūralūs, tai anaiptol... Štai kaip atrodo šimtmečius tobulinta tvarka: karpomi medžiai, griežtos linijos, geometrija ir nuolatinė priežiūra.
Tačiau tokiu būdu medžiai tampa architektūros dalimi, o sodas - žmogaus ir gamtos bendra kūryba.
(Čia atkurtas įspūdingas ir labai karališkas Herrenhauzų sodas Vokietijoje, netoli Hanoverio).

If anyone thinks historic gardens used to look natural — not really…
This is what centuries of perfected order look like: clipped trees, strict lines, geometry and constant care.

But in this way, trees become part of the architecture, and the garden itself turns into a collaboration between humans and nature.

(These are the restored Herrenhausen Gardens in Germany, near Hanover — truly grand and royal in scale.)
