With 55 years of experience, SpanSet today stands for innovative slings that make working with heavy loads safe and more economical. We never stand still, but are constantly developing ourselves and our products. This drive enables us to set new standards throughout the industry time and again. A proof: the SupraPlus®X round sling – even more compact, durable and resistant than its predecessor and of course, it comes with SpanSet‘s proven, certified quality.

Unique, tear-resistant label
If the label is lost or illegible, the use of a sling is prohibited. For this reason, our label is sewn on to be tear-proof and is additionally protected against dirt and abrasion by a transparent protective tube.

50 % increased tear resistance
The double proportion of high-performance fibre in the rib reinforcement offers improved abrasion and tear resistance – for the longest service life and less wear, even under the toughest conditions.

The updated VDI 2700 will come into force on 1 September this year. This guideline deals comprehensively with load securing for cars and lorries on road vehicles and will be an important benchmark for technology and safety in the future. This is particularly relevant for police checks and court proceedings.
Successful event at SpanSet
SpanSet organised a high-calibre information event at the beginning of June, which met with great interest. Over 60 experts, including many specialised journalists, gathered at the Testing Center Aldenhoven for a symposium with presentations and driving demonstrations. The main topic was the updated VDI guideline 2700, which was presented in detail.

Have you heard about the Tension Force Indicator from SpanSet?

Discover the revolutionary way to measure and document the pre-tension force of your lashing systems! The Tension Force Indicator (TFI) is an innovative solution designed to provide you with accurate, verifiable, and cost-efficient cargo securing.

Why TFI?
Intuitive Use: Integrated directly into the ratchet of the lashing strap, the TFI measures the pre-tension force accurately during the tensioning process. The display is complete when the jaws of the TFI are fully closed – a clear and simple indicator of correct pre-tensioning.
Cost Efficiency: By precise measurements of the pre-tension force, you can reduce the number of lashing means required. This not only saves materials but also valuable working time.
Color-coded: Available in versions 500 daN (green) and 750 daN (red), the TFI offers quick recognition of pre-tension forces even under poor lighting conditions.
Flexibility in Application: In addition to its use on the fixed end of the lashing strap, the TFI can also be attached at the loose end, further increasing the verifiability of the lashing force.
Many of our lashing systems are already equipped with the TFI as standard. Opt now for a modern and safe solution that not only boosts your efficiency but also makes costly measurements in the future unnecessary.
