THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the financial health of the organization. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research. Guiding senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.
SHAPE & CREATE
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, supplier transactions and other incomings/outgoings
• Work on legal matters together with our CEO or senior leadership team
• Review processes and system, help with implementation of changes, if necessary to facility company growth
• Contract outside services for financial needs as necessary
• Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
• Prepare financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients when required
• Support the CEO’s office in Fundraising process with banks and investors through up to date Financial planning, reporting, P&L and cash flow/burn
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
ABOUT YOU
• Advanced degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
• Several years of experience in a similar role, ideally within international, scaling companies
• Deep understanding of business principles and practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Superior mathematical skills; attention to detail
• Understanding of data privacy standards
• Organisational skills; planning skills; research skills; analytical skills; critical thinking skills; problem-solving skills; computer skills
• Multi-tasking abilities; integrity, honesty
• French language skills are essential, fluency in English is required. The ability to speak additional languages is highly desirable
