The project is a cultural complex,which comprises of 800-1200 people big theatre hall, 300 people small theater hall, service rooms, artists’ rooms, cafe-restaurant, 38 hotel rooms, and an 80 car capacity garage.
The front section of the parterre in the larger theatre hall can be elevated to the stage level, and the seats here can be removed to form a dance platform when needed.
Another feature in the larger hall is the possibility of creating,800 or 1200 spectator capacity, two separate halls by closing the balcony level with accomplished architectural techniques and separable ceiling construction.

The project was awarded the first prize at the architectural competition held by the Tumen Governorship.
As the design was evolving, the plan scheme was aimed to be respectful to the local structures and convinient for a contemporary playhouse with international standarts.
The amphitheater designed outside enables outdoor performances.
Inside the building with its textured and dynamic facades, the curved hall at the foyer space was aimed to be an attraction point for the audience.
The audience enters the building through an elevated platform.
This space is emphasized visually with an iconic entrance portal symbolizing performing arts.

Born in Ankara in 1947, Nesrin Yatman, received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Zafer Engineering and Architecture Graduate School, and completed her master’s degree at METU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Restoration in 1978. She has been working as a freelance architect, founding partner, project designer, and manager in the architectural office she established with her husband, Architect Affan Yatman, since 1972. She has served as a jury member and jury president in numerous architectural competitions, worked as a research assistant at METU Faculty of Architecture, and as a lecturer at Trakya University and ADMMA Faculty of Architecture. She served for TSMD as a board member during 1996-1998 term, and as vice president in 2013. She is one of the founding members of METU OMIM association and served as a board member for five terms. She is the first female president of Ankara Equestrian Club.
Having started its professional life in 1972, and since 1988 as an institutional cooperation, Yatman Architects, still continues its services in the fields of project design, application, consultancy, and restoration.
Yatman Architects, developed unique design alternatives, provided application solutions and architectural consultancy services for administrative and community buildings, sports complexes, hospitals, airports, bus terminals, universities, hotels, and touristic facilities, theaters and concert halls, embassies, housing complexes and commercial centers both in Turkey and worldwide.
Nesrin Yatman, along with her husband Affan Yatman, was awarded more than 35 prizes at architectural competitions, and received
“Association of Turkish Architects in Private Practice Honorary Award” in 2008.
