Global Perspectives for Ulaanbaatar’s Future

On 23 September, we are pleased to host a special seminar, marking the 20th anniversary of IQP ITALDESIGN LLC’s presence in Mongolia.

For two decades, IQP ITALDESIGN LLC has contributed to Mongolia’s architectural and urban development, building valuable experience and supporting the evolution of Ulaanbaatar’s urban environment.

This milestone is not only a moment to celebrate the journey so far, but also an opportunity to look ahead. The seminar will explore new ideas, international expertise, and emerging approaches to sustainable urban development, with a focus on the opportunities and challenges shaping Ulaanbaatar’s future.

Bringing together internationally recognized experts from diverse disciplines, the event will foster an interdisciplinary dialogue among architects, urban planners, mobility specialists, urban systems experts, and environmental consultants. By combining these complementary perspectives, we aim to contribute to a more integrated, resilient, and holistic vision for the future of Ulaanbaatar.

We are at a loss for words to express the profound sorrow and shock we felt upon learning of Gianandrea Barreca’s sudden and unexpected passing.
We have lost a great professional, with whom we had the privilege of collaborating on numerous projects in Mongolia. We will always remember his availability, expertise, and extraordinary human qualities.
We take comfort in knowing that his memory will live on through the projects we realized together in Ulaanbaatar, a lasting testament to his professionalism, passion, and valuable contribution.
In this moment of deep sadness, we extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and caring for him.
May he rest in peace.
