Think ESG is just for big corporations? Think again.

Environmental, Social, and Governance is fast becoming a priority for businesses of every size. Larger companies are passing sustainability expectations down to their suppliers, while banks, investors, customers, and employees increasingly care about how a business operates, not just what it sells. For SMEs, that's both a risk and a real opportunity.

Speaking at the final session of EU Unlocked | Law, Tech & Growth for Entrepreneurs, Dr Claire Cassar will be tackling the topic of digitalisation and artificial intelligence on SMEs, while Silvan Mifsud will analyse geopolitical tensions and their impact on business, gaining a better understanding of how global uncertainty, supply chains, and international relations influence markets and entrepreneurial decision-making.

This course is jointly organised by the European Parliament in Malta / Il-Parlament Ewropew f'Malta & the Foundation for the Promotion of Entrepreneurial Initiatives (FPEI).

- The 28th regime/EU Inc: A new legal framework for innovative companies
- Taxation and Licensing for Business

The first module (09:30 - 10:45) will introduce the 28th regime, aka EU Inc, a proposed EU-wide legal framework aimed at innovative and fast-growing companies, highlighting how it could simplify operations and reduce regulatory barriers across Member States.
