Too little clearance and two people can't pass each other. Open the dishwasher and you block the whole room. It looked perfect on the drawing, and now you walk sideways in your own house.

So the island is never the first decision. The walking space is.

Get that right and the rest - color, handles, worktop - is just taste.

Grey matte. Oak uppers. Quartz top. Room to walk on all four sides.

No handles. No k***s. No fingerprints on the fronts.

Just push, and it opens.

Most "handleless" kitchens still need you to grab an edge or a channel. Ours don't:

→ Blum TIP-ON BLUMOTION on drawers. A light push opens the drawer, and it closes soft and silent.

→ Full extension, so you see and reach everything, right to the back.

→ Loaded with heavy pots? It still opens with one push and glides smoothly.

→ Clean, flat, uninterrupted gloss fronts. Nothing sticks out and nothing catches your hip.

→ Hands full or covered in flour? Push with your knee or your hip.

This is how the best kitchens in Europe are built, and now in Mauritius too.

Beautiful is easy. Beautiful that still works perfectly in 10 years time, is the job.

Open a drawer 20 times a day. That's over 7,000 times a year.

That's why cheap hardware fails first. The cabinets still look fine, but the drawers drag, the doors drop and the soft-close stops being soft.

So we don't compromise on what moves:

→ Blum hinges. Austrian-engineered, with BLUMOTION soft-close. Every door closes quietly, every time.

→ Blum TANDEMBOX drawers. Full extension, so you reach the very back of every drawer, and they glide smoothly even when fully loaded with pots and pans.

→ Adjustable in every direction, so doors stay perfectly aligned for years, not months.

You'll use your kitchen every day for the next 15 years or more. The hardware is the part you touch every single time.

Good cabinets with cheap hardware is still a cheap kitchen.
