First understand that the whole carpentry work lies on measurements. Slide doors are fitted on rails on a straight melamine boards or any other board. When the upper shelves are large and are loaded they bend making an oval shape that can not allow the door wheels move free. It is recommended to use thicker board where shelves are large to avoid bending.

WHY DO CEILINGS CRACK AFTER FEW MONTHS OR YEARS?
Normally plastered ceiling were designed not to show joints. People prefer plastered ceiling boards because they don't want see joints. But when unskilled men win contracts they compromise skill sometimes because of too much bargaining or customer's low budget. This pushes the contractor work under limited resources (materials) resulting to adjust the blundering sizes to larger sizes. Now at this moment the ceiling boards Hungs on less supported blundering resulting to more vibrations of the ceiling that leads to cracks. It's good sometimes to listen to a contractor why he needs such materials and such labor to avoid compromised work that will demand more at the end. In most maintenance work we have encountered such errors by previous contractors.
