Established in 1998 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, SL Westwood Design is a company with more than 20 years of experience building high-end carpentry. We believe that good ideas delivered into our woodworker's hands turn into beautiful art pieces instead of just simple furniture. Today our design process is done by using the latest tools available for our shop's needs, from handmade sketches to 3D modeling and CAD Shop Drawings

One of the most elaborate and breathtaking front doors we’ve ever built.
At around 2800 pounds (1300 kg), this solid oak door runs smoothly on a heavy duty ball bearing floor hinge system.
The mosaic structure of the design allow the door to open and close seamlessly.
Every mosaic is embellished by a casted bronze square that can spin on its own axis.
The round casted bronze pulls add a beautiful contrast to the square nature of the door.

Our signature product, solid wood louvers.
We love the ambience created by the soft light that enters through the wooden slats.

According to historians, the louver is approximately 1500 years old. Created during the Middle Ages in Europe, the first construction was thought to be on rooftops of kitchens providing air circulation and preventing outside elements from penetrating the room.

Carved solid oak front door with bronze strips. Stained and oiled. Embellished by our sand-casted bronze pull.

The amount of work that was invested in the making of this door is unreal, we are very proud of the outcome and the achievement of our team of skillful carpenters.
