A principios de mayo concluyó “The White Cube is Never Empty”, exposición individual de Cristina Garrido (). El catálogo de la muestra ya está disponible en la galería y en COLLECT, sección en nuestra página web dedicada a la adquisición de libros, prints, piezas y ediciones especiales.
“The White Cube is Never Empty”, fue curada por Denis Gielen, en el MACS (Musée des Arts Contemporains) Musée des Arts Contemporains, en Grand-Hornu, Bélgica.
En la muestra, la artista explora críticamente las dinámicas de exhibición, circulación y legitimación del arte contemporáneo. A través de pintura, instalación y dispositivos visuales que dialogan con la historia del display expositivo, Garrido cuestiona las narrativas dominantes del “cubo blanco” y revela cómo el contexto condiciona nuestra manera de mirar, interpretar y otorgar valor a las obras.
