We’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately due to a high workload—but that’s a good problem to have 🙌

In these photos, you can see a Whirlpool dryer that was completely unresponsive. After inspection, we found the issue was simple: the digital timer/control board was shorted.

We replaced the faulty component, and the unit is now running perfectly again ✅

Este es uno de los "horrores" que nos hemos encontrado en nuestro trabajo.

La persona que hizo este trabajo, pensó que era más fácil empatar un pedazo de cable de menor calibre para alimentar un centro de carga que a su vez, energiza 3 equipos de aire acondicionado de 3, 2, y 1 tonelada respectivamente.

No nos gusta hablar mal de otros prestadores de servicios, pero estamos hablando de riesgo de fuego real e inminente para quien se hospede en la residencia, consideramos que la ética y profesionalismo fueron nulos en este caso.

La solución consistió en utilizar los empates correctos para extender las líneas de alimentación, pero usando el color correcto también, así como el calibre necesario de cable.

Instalamos un centro de carga Nema3R, y toda la canalización se hizo en tubo galvanizado con condulets y conectores a prueba de agua.

Invitamos a nuestros colegas a no jugar con la integridad física de las personas, debemos de actuar con responsabilidad, profesionalismo, y ética profesional.

⚡ Today’s progress update – Punta Pescadero

Good advances on site today 💪

We successfully installed 2 NEMA 3R exterior-rated circuit boxes (with one more pending), and we’re continuing work on the canalization and wiring for the system.

As often happens on rehabilitation projects, we’ve also run into a few surprises 👀

Some previous service providers used improper materials, including black water pipe being used to run electrical wiring, which is unsafe and not designed for electrical installations—especially in outdoor and coastal environments.

Our job is to correct these issues and rebuild the system the right way:

✔ Proper materials
✔ Correct grounding
✔ Weather-proof installations
✔ Safe, long-lasting results

We’re starting a new job this week in Punta Pescadero, focused on correcting and upgrading several critical electrical systems to make them safe, code-compliant, and built to last in coastal conditions.

🔧 Scope of work includes:

- Rehabilitation of an existing electrical register.

- Replacing an indoor-rated circuit box with a NEMA3R panel in the pool pump room.

- Installing a delta grounding system for the pool pump machinery.

- Rewiring the pool equipment electrical feed using weather-proof materials.

- Installing a timer for pool lighting.

- Reworking the electrical feed for 5 mini-splits, correcting the lack of weatherproofing and proper grounding.
