We are incredibly proud to present this landmark exhibition, where we return to Europe joining a diverse group of artists in a space dedicated to capturing the agony of the human condition.
The exhibit represents a profound journey back to the very origins of Schmill’s art. Eight years after his passing, his work finally shares walls with his two greatest masters: Rembrandt and Goya. It also honors his roots as a young painter, reflecting the foundational guidance he received from his art teacher, José Antonio Bardasano a Spanish exiled painter who found refuge in Mexico.
This extraordinary achievement was made possible by those who have never stopped giving their unconditional support to keep Schmill’s art alive: César Oropeza and Carlos Arenas, who curated and turned this project into a reality.
