La pieza está basada en un verso del Libro de Job:
“Maravillosamente truena Dios con su voz, haciendo grandes cosas que no comprendemos.” (Job 37:5)
La pintura muestra al Creyente como un árbol cuyo follaje tienen la forma de un iris, El Ojo de Dios.
Súbitamente, del Cielo le cae un relámpago.
El relámpago se mueve a través de su contorno iluminándolo desde la copa y hasta las raíces, dejando ver que la raíz principal del Creyente es una espada.
Cuando el relámpago llega a la espada, descarga su potencia en ella, activándola, dándole energía, poder. De pronto, El Espíritu Santo activa la Palabra de Dios en el Creyente. De pronto, el Creyente la entiende, se convence, la asimila como su mismísima raíz, como la vida misma de aquél que confía en Dios.
Y el Cielo enmarca la escena alrededor de las hojas del árbol. La Mirada Celestial de Dios está en el Creyente, ahora juntos, unidos, no más separados. Todo va a cambiar…
“… pero recibiréis poder cuando el Espíritu Santo venga sobre vosotros; y me seréis testigos en Jerusalén, en toda Judea y Samaria, y hasta los confines de la tierra.” (Hechos 1:8)

The piece is based on a verse from the Book of Job:
“God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things, that we do not understand.” (Job 37:5)
The painting shows the Believer as a tree whose leaves are shaped like an iris, the Eye of God.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning strikes him from the sky.
The lightning moves across its outline, illuminating him from the top to the roots, revealing that the Believer's main root is a sword.
When the lightning strikes the sword, it releases its power into it, activating it, giving it energy, power. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit activates the Word of God in the Believer. Suddenly, the Believer understands it, is convinced, and assimilates it as his very root, as the very life of those who trust in God.
And Heaven frames the scene around the leaves of the tree. God's Heavenly Gaze is on the Believer, now together, united, no longer separated. Everything is going to change...
“… but you shall receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you. And you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
