Today’s KPI: make something with your own hands. 🪵✨

A big thank you to the Dell team for spending the day with us at Rekayu! From wooden cars to butter knives and whistles, everyone created something unique from scratch.

The best part? These aren’t just workshop projects—they get to go home, be used, and maybe even become a new favourite toy for the kids. 😆

A piece of wood, a few tools,

What started as a chopping board workshop quickly turned into a showcase of unique ideas and personal touches. ♾️

Just as letters form words and words form sentences, motifs come together to create arrangements and patterns. To design meaningful patterns, it is important to first understand the basic building blocks, from the motifs, before learning how they can be combined into larger compositions.

Let me share their journey with you

They took a public bus from Sungai Petani to Penang Sentral, then hopped on the ferry into George Town. Along the way, they visited the Ferry Museum, enjoyed a short break with authentic Penang food, and then headed to our workshop to build their own wooden toy car. After that, they were back on the ferry and public bus to Sungai Petani, ending the day right.

Indeed, it was a great way for kids to experience public transport and discover a new kind of journey through Penang. At the end of it all, most of the kids were cheering “WooHoo!”
