📢 WE ARE HIRING – QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)
📍 Location: Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur
🕐 Working Days: Monday – Friday
⏰ Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
💼 Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS)
We are looking for a responsible, independent and hands-on Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The candidate should be comfortable handling both office and site-related responsibilities and communicating directly with clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare quotations, cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BQ)
Handle tender documentation, costing and project budgeting
Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
Compare, negotiate and evaluate supplier/subcontractor pricing
Prepare and manage progress claims, Variation Orders (VO) and final accounts
Verify subcontractor claims, supplier invoices and project costs
Conduct site measurements and regular site visits
Monitor project progress and identify cost or contractual issues
Liaise directly with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and the site team
Attend site/project meetings when required
Assist in resolving site and project issues and provide practical solutions
Coordinate closely with the project team to ensure smooth project ex*****on
Prepare project cost and progress reports
Report directly to the Director
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
Relevant QS/construction experience is preferred
Fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
Able to read drawings, take measurements and understand BQ
Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned projects
Willing to travel to project sites and work outstation when required
Possess a valid driving licence and own transport is an advantage
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
