We are undertaking a replacement of the 30Ah genset battery due to loose ability to reliably start engine overtime.

1. Battery Aging – Lead-acid batteries typically last 2–3 years. Their capacity drops as the plates corrode and active material deteriorates.

2. Sulfation – If the battery is not charged properly or remains idle for long periods, sulfate crystals build up on the plates, reducing its ability to hold charge.

3. Electrolyte Loss – In flooded batteries, water evaporates or leaks, causing low electrolyte levels and eventual failure.

4. Deep Discharge or Overcharging – Both can permanently damage the battery and shorten its lifespan.
