ARCHIDEX 2026 — Malaysia's leading International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition — took place in Kuala Lumpur, with China State Construction (CSCEC) participating as an exhibitor to showcase its latest achievements in smart construction, green building and regional cooperation.
Positioned at the main entrance, CSCEC's 210sqm booth presented innovative solutions in the built environment, demonstrating the capabilities of China's construction industry to an international audience.

On 30 July, the 13th International Conference on BIM Technology was successfully held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. CSCEC Malaysia was invited to attend the conference, where Chief Engineer Fu Xianjun delivered a keynote presentation on the company’s innovative BIM practices in overseas digital construction under the theme of “Cross-Border Collaboration, Digital-Intelligent Symbiosis”.
The presentation showcased CSCEC Malaysia’s exploration and achievements in digital construction, highlighting the company’s efforts in applying BIM technologies to enhance project collaboration and management. The digital construction achievements presented by CSCEC Malaysia at the exhibition also received widespread recognition.

A research delegation from the China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. visited CSCEC Malaysia for a research and exchange visit.
During the visit, the delegation toured CSCEC Malaysia’s office and learned about the company’s development history, overseas operations, localisation practices and corporate culture. In the subsequent discussion session, both sides exchanged views on topics including the internationalisation of the construction industry, digital construction, BIM applications and data centre development.
The exchange further strengthened CSCEC Malaysia’s efforts to integrate digital technologies with engineering practices and enhance digital management capabilities for overseas projects.

Recently, CSCEC Malaysia was invited to an exchange meeting between the 马来西亚中资企业总商会 China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce In Malaysia (CECCM) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) ). UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat shared insights into the university’s development and achievements in international education, expressing a willingness to deepen industry–university collaboration. CSCEC Malaysia representative Liu Zhongding also exchanged views on industry–university partnerships and talent development.
Moving forward, CSCEC Malaysia will continue to strengthen partnerships with local universities and expand pathways for local talent development, supporting the company’s high-quality growth and localisation efforts.

Recently, a research team from the National Key R&D Program of China under the 14th Five-Year Plan visited CSCEC Malaysia, working with local experts to compare Chinese and Malaysian standards for structural engineering, façade systems and other disciplines.
An initial comparison framework covering regulations, design, materials, construction, testing and acceptance has been established.
The next step will be to develop a bilingual standards database based on representative projects and use semantic knowledge graph technology to create an international application tool for standards that can be easily searched and compared, providing technical support for the application of engineering standards overseas.
