John Bulcock has 30 years experience working as an Architect, Environmental Planner and Landscape Designer on a wide variety of sustainable ‘green’ Projects in Europe, Turkey & Asia. His experience encompasses Architecture as well as Master Planning and since 1994 he has been commissioned to carry out a wide variety of projects in India, China, Korea and Southeast Asia including Residential, Comme

rcial & Institutional buildings and Sustainable Master Planning of Resorts and Townships. Low energy and sustainable design is central to his philosophy and approach to architecture and he has received a number of awards for his work. Space that the building form creates,not the form itself is the essence of architecture, and is how the architect communicates to himself and therefore to others. If others find meaning in it, find that it stimulates them into their own thought, not the artists thought, then I believe we have defined art.

Natural light creates a psychologically stimulating living environment while reducing dependence on artificial light and therefore energy costs.

In some of our houses this is in part achieved by the introduction of ‘ring-beams’ or ‘light-shelves’ at high level to each space. This device allows reflected cooler glare-free diffused natural light to enter all spaces i.e. natural light enters the interior without the hot solar gain from direct solar radiation.

John Bulcock has 36 years experience working as an Architect, Planner, Interior Designer and Landscape Designer on a wide variety of projects in Europe, Turkey, India and Southeast Asia. His experience encompasses Architecture as well as Architectural, Master, Urban and Sustainable Planning. Since 1994 he has been commissioned to carry out a variety of projects in Malaysia, India and Southeast Asia including Residential, Commercial & Institutional buildings and Sustainable Master Planning of Resorts and Townships. Low energy and sustainable design is central to his philosophy and approach to architecture and he has received a number of awards for his work.

Chin Kuen Cheng Architect is registered with the Malaysia Board of Architect as Professional Architect. After practicing as an architect for 15 years, he has vast experience in architecture, interior design, as well as master planning. He has involved in a wide range of projects from industrial buildings, office, housing, hotel, commercial and mixed development. He is experienced in dealing with the local authorities to obtain approvals and licenses.
