Hi guys.. today wr are in RISM (Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia) building in PJ attending a CPD (Continuous Professional Development) talk on Building Inspection Methodology CBPS 105 to keep up with our competency standards. Delevered by Sr Zamharira from RISM and JKR.

We are required to collect 20 CPD points every year.. A registered building surveyor is not a one time thing. It is a continuous professional development.

Hi guys,

Appreciate if you could participate in this survey. This questionnaire is to be filled by Building User who are occupying or working in a building. This is part of the research to find out all the setbacks that has to be faced by occupiers and workers in a completed buildings (in Facility Management stage) that has been awarded the certificate of compliance and completion (CCC) by competent professionals (Architect & Engineers) and accepted by the local authority. Hi semua,

Kami terima complaint pasal lantai kayu yang meleding disebabkaan kelembapan yang tinggi (high moisture content). Mereka suspect dari lantai sebab di sebalik dinding tu ialah industrial kitchen, dan tiada laluan pipe di sepanjang dinding tu, client dah buat waterproofing lantai kitchen, tapi masih lagi ada kesan lembab.

So today, kami cuba scan dengan thermographic scanner (IR Scanner) untuk cuba cari punca dari mana air itu datang. memang nampak jelas ada active leaking. Walaupun dalam as-built plan tiada pipe, client perlu hack dinding tu untuk tahu apa yang bocor. Bangunan ni ialah bangunan commercial, kami hanya dipanggil untuk buat diagnosis salah satu caranya ialah buat IR scanning. Satu lagi kaedah untuk mengesan kebocoran dalam dinding akan kami kongsi dalam post akan datang.

IR Scanning memang sudah termasuk dalam package premium untuk home inspection. Boleh PM untuk book appointment.

Hari ini Team Kesuma bersama dengan RISM BS Division (Royal Institution of Surveyor's Malaysia) untuk menghadiri seminar berkenaan "Pemeriksaan Rumah dalam Tempoh Tanggungan Kecacatan" (House Inspection during Defect & Liability Period) disampaikan oleh Sr. Ts Asrul (UiTM Sri Iskandar) dan Pn Emma (dari Tribunal Perumahan Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan).

Sesi yang sangat berguna dan memberi nilai tambah (value add) selain memenuhi keperluan Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sebagai pengamal Juruukur Bangunan Professional sesi ini turut membantu kami untuk menjalankan tugas dengan lebih efisien dan memberikan maklumat dan konsultasi yang betul kepada klien kami kelak.

Terima kasih Penganjur, BS Division RISM dan Sdr Razzi (secretariat) yang turut juga menganjurkan rumah terbuka bagi BS Division sejurus tamat sesi seminar tersebut. Makan pun sedap, perut kenyang, ilmu pun penih di dada! Pendek kata, puas hati!!
